Another Member to Buy a 2.2L Turbo Kit!
I am not going to mention names, and I dont even know if this user is a member, and I dont know if he even wants you all to know if he is...
But a customer just purchased a 2.2L Alpine Turbo Kit from TNT Autosport!
Hopefuly you will all see some posts regarding his outcome which might persuade you all to buy in on one!
Oh, heres a link to the kit: http://www.tntautosport.com/store/in...roducts_id=125

I'm old school
I don't know the answer for certain, but it will work. You will get a CEL from it, but the engine will work just fine. All of the system parts would be removed by the installation of the kit. But the program in the ECM would remain, and would throw the code when it sees its not there anymore.

Thanks Halfcent and TCarter. Hopefully they can reflash the comp or something so the cell isnt there. I hate cells and its a pain when u have to get ur car inspected. Plus getting rid of that SAI will save some weight. I was lookin at it the other day and theres a bunch of crap all hooked into it. Thinkin about unhookin it(If i can figure out how) and see how it runs. Maybe I should wait until I get the oil in the dex-cool checked out first...

"On a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt 2.2L Manual, 100% Stock Engine/Drivetrain, 100% Stock Exhaust, gained a overwhelming 212WHP, and 224WTQ over the stock 123whp, and 135wtq..."
i find that extemely hard to beleive. Is that just worded wrong? Were the final numbers 212whp and 224wtq....i believe that. I don't beleive you gained that. Maybe you should reword your site because right now you are techincally saying you put down 335whp and 359wtq....

i gotta nit pick when some idiot like yourself doesn't realize that in advertising, you have to be very precise or people will come to false conclusions. Read my post again, realize it is pointing out an error so he can correct it, and also realize that if you actually knew how to read, that statement MEANS that they GAINED, as it says, those power numbers, when in fact those were the resulting power numbers. If I didn't nit pick on stuff like this, someone would see that (this is if they can actually read) and if they did not attend these forums or have a decent amount of knowledge on the setup, they would think they are going to put down 335whp and according to the source that would be correct, then tnt would be caught in a **** storm of smack talking about their company when the guy starts telling everyone he gained 100whp less than advertised. I worded it the way i did to not try to call them out as if they were lying or just start a **** storm. If i had said, " you don't really gain that much, those are the final numbers idiot blah blah blah" it probably would have caused problems and would have been very rude. Don't call me retarded because i am correcting mistakes that could cause problems...

I also read that as being the gain and not the new total, and would like some clarification. Guess I'm retarded, too?

I read it fine : /. Although I kind of just assumed those were the numbers too without even reading into it. Its pretty common numbers I guess for a turbo kit, they looked normal to me but I'm just a lonely reader .
