It's always a good thing to try to save money. But yes products like those listed on ebay are scams and actually take away performance, potentially could harm your car, and break within days. I would just save up over time and get a tune.

You dont need to know anything about car mods. Its common sense. You really think you can get like 50hp for 10$. If it were real everyone would have one. Use your brain.

1. Go to a performance shop that has a dyno and tunes.
2. Have one of the members on this site tune you.
3. Vince from Trifecta Performance can send you everything to upload a tune (not sure if he has a tune for the 2.2 though)

not totally wasting our time, i got a few chuckles from this thread...lol but this site will point you in the right direction even if you dont know what a hubcap is...and kudos for admitting you know nothing about cars..of those who claim to know these cars like their own pecker there are only few who actually do, use the search button and you can even find how tos on supercharging your 2.2....but for that i would recommend more mechanical knowledge first...dont use ebay for perf parts for the love of all that is domestic...
omfg this guy in an LT shows up to our weekly meets. he has a sound system and cop speaker and whatever. and he says he has "An ebay performance chip that makes him smoke stock SS/SC's" i just laughed and walked away

Don't laugh!!!! i have an intake Cyber Swarm Boost Tornado that works with a little monkey banging on a Nitrous Cyclone HP Technological O2 injection sump Bi curious ass hampster clone in my charge piping. i got it off Ebay and it was only $3.77 plus 35.00 shipping and I whoop-up on Vipers! So put that in your pipe and smoke nay sayers.......What sorcery is this?!!! is all you'll be asking when I stomp the pedal.

Sorry but as much as you are correct I don't think one of the most respected members on this forum is going to be looking like a **** anytime soon especially about performance with a 12.75 pass
