looks pretty nice and the $$$ is pretty badass for T-304 stainless steel... it looks like you will need a custom downpipe but that shouldn't be a problem for any good exhaust shop! $195... i might have to invest in one myself!

I've never used them but it looks like you will have to modify your stock exhaust pipe to install them, if the one in that picture is the actual part. You can see the exhaust flange that will have to be welded onto your existing exhaust laying on the floor by the header, also, i believe the cobalt has a 3 bolt flange and that one looks like it is only 2. Other than that, looks ok., just my 2 cents.

You would need to have your DP welded to that.

Not just in the import community. I had OBX headers on my old S-10. No leaks, no cracks, no complaints, really. I thought they were really good for the price.

Same here, they have grown into more than just a "China cheep" company.

I was thinking about these headers the other day. The application wasn't on there website the few times I did check. I e-mailed them for details, etc; never got a reply after sending at least two e-mails.

I have this header on my 2.2. With magnaflow exhaust, custom bent pipe.

Your right about the flange, it had to be custom. I paid 600 installed with this header for my exhuast. Thats can. dollar.

I can beat 2.4 auto's. Never raced a 5 spd yet.(im a 5spd)

I may have pictures of this installed.

i have the OBX header on my car, lemme pull the pics 4 ya'll

they have that sexy bronze look to them once they heat up, only thing is make sure, like all stainless steel) that u clean them up after the install, dont leave any finger prints, or they will literally burn on them, and stain the steel, i cleaned it up with a shirt, wipe'd all the grease off, and they came out a perfect tone, they look nice, feel nice, and no leaks, gasket they give matches up perfect, the collector is a 2.25" the stock dp on the 2.2 is 2.25" so it will weld right on

ps- i strognly recomend that you upgrade ur DP, cuz the inlet to the cat is 2.25" but the xit is like a 2", right now the piece after that cat and before the cat back is bottleneck'n my exhaust, im thinking of going to a exhaust shop and having them just weld me up that bottom 1/2 of it in 2.25"

damm that obx looks good. I used to have one on my 98 sunfire and never had any problems with it at all. I might end investing in this one for my cobalt also.
