my buddy did it on a honda but haven't heard of cobalts doing it. pretty sure its possible prolly just be a bit pricey

you have to switch the harness from headlight to taillight for one,mounts,ecu axles pretty much everything lol.your better off selling and buying a 5 speed car.

^What he said. I priced it out 4 years ago when I first got my car. With that on top of being the first person to do it with no guarantee it would work I decided not to do it.

I don't think the price can be justified. I think it's cheaper to find a blown manual for cheap and replace the motor could be wrong though...

Definitely not worth the trouble. Be cheaper and less hassle to take the mods off the car and trade it for a manual
