B&M short throw or Hurst on 2.2

quick question. can you put the B&M or Hurst sort throws that say made for the ss/sc and redline on the 2.2l?

as fas as i know nah its i different transmission so you cant but i couldd be wrong dont quote me on that but im pretty sure you cant
