Question Best Exhaust for 2.2L?

I am going to put a new exhaust system on my 06 LT. It is just stock right now so I need the best exhaust that will give me the most power for cost. Any Suggestions?

Well, with just an exhaust, you are not really going to feel much of a power gain. I suggest a tsudo n1 catback. Its a great price, and I think it sounds great. Best bang for the buck IMO. Other good suggestions would be GMPP or Megan.

I would avoid magnaflow with any 4 banger. I had an exhaust from them and it sounded like a pissed off weed whacker. Im going with a Tsudo this weekend, this website has the cheapest price and a video clip so you can hear it!

Yes it does however you will need longer exhaust hangers for the muffler to sit right or else it will rub against your bumper and melt it.

The magnaflow sounds great on the cobalt IMO. I've got the magnaflow with a K&N intake and I love it. Not horrifically loud or annoying. Given I went with the 2.25" and most people go bigger. I didnt feel like having no bottom end power, so I went with the smaller diameter.

I personally like the Drift Spec Megan Exhaust.

it will fit but but i wouldn't suggest using it until you actually turbo your car because it has a 3" diameter, so just try to fit the exhaust on right after you turbo it.

would the Tsudo be recommended for a supercharged car? I am going to do a M62 swap but first Im doing supporting mods so I see that the Tsudo has 2.36 inch piping which is almost 2.5 so what do you guys think

My exhaust set up is really nice. Nice, low pitch grumble and no rasp at all. Tsudo and ZZP = sex

I like my megan but its loud for where I live. I used a silencer for it when I'm not tryin to be cool

The sound doesn't really bother me but when I come rolling in at 2 am or leave for work/school @ 6am I can see where it would **** my neighbors off.

haha yeah, I try to keep my foot off the gas when I am in my neighborhood. But my Cobalt is a hell of a lot quieter than my cavalier was... it was a dual magnaflow with a pacesetter header....shittiest exhaust I've ever heard.
