Still wondering if the Cobalt 2.2 Tsudo is the best setup if I plan to supercharge in the future...should I get the SS Tsudo exhaust instead?

I have a tsudo exhaust. Great sound and growl. Has anyone here, with a tsudo, put a silencer on it? I was thinking of "parting-out" or putting a silencer on mine. suggestions?

My tsudo came with a silencer and it still has the same growl but not as obnoxiously loud lol

Why are you worried about getting a catback? Just get a good quality one like tsudo or magnaflow. Or you could get a used ss/sc exhaust which is a 2.5/2.25 inch piping.

I think the best one for the money is the TrueBendz or Mandrelbentexhaustsystem exhaust. All it needs is a resonator and it sounds really good. I want to get the 2.5in with the borla muffler and Ill get a resonator welded in. It should sound good and have a decent gain in performance.

Did a google search for the Tsudo and its only $230, seems too cheap to me... It sounds good but how well does it help with power or torque increase because I might just rethink ordering the GMPP cat-back for my 08 LS

Honestly just a catback isnt going to give you a dramatic difference in hp/tq.

But with new intake, intake manifold, and a retune is it going to be comparable to a $600 cat-back like GMPP? The Tsudo sounds better to me, but it costing less than an air intake kind of makes me wonder. Im not looking for drastic gains just something to give me a bit more driving enjoyment while I finish paying the car off.

ok... here is what i think... quit thinking in brands... all a cat-back is, is larger pipes AFTER the cats! buy whatever is cheap... dont like the sound? cut off the muffler and weld on a different one... at that price you can also do a bolt on muffler setpu and change it to mach whatever you feel like that morning... loud and big? bolt it up, small but aggressive? mount it! subtle yet dramatic? throw it on there... whatever your looking for... dont let price being two low stop you... this is not a vital piece... technically you can run without one on... just bolt something up for inspections... price should not stop you from buying pipes, because thats all your doing with a cat-back system... this is NOT true for headers and downpipes... as these are functional pieces that serve a real purpose for the car. you have heard people say over and over again... tsudo is a good system and a great price! so stop pussyfooting around and just buy it! am i right? STIMULATE THE ECONOMY! MOD YOUR CAR!
