I was also debating this, my issue is I do not want to attract a-hole ricers though.
Is there an exhaust out there with the same flow but about as loud as stock?

I'm gonna vote for the touring... cause I'm a non-conformist like that

what is the part number for the GMPP performance? i was thinking of selling my magnaflow and getting one of those. i also called one of the dealers and he was talking like it came with a down pipe??? can i just buy a GMPP down pipe separate? do they even make one?

They are pretty much the same.. the touring is a little more mellow in the sound but both have a nice growl.. just a matter of which sounds better to you.

Having heard the two of them back to back, there isn't enough of a difference to choose the touring. The performance gives you all the gains for about $100 less, and sounds nearly identical. The only real difference is in the resonator. My performance system has a hollow resonator and a packed muffler, the Touring one uses a packed resonator that looks just like the muffler. Thats the only real sound difference, and its very minor. Neither GM system sounds ricey. For a really clean sound and even better flow, get the Borla system. It is just about the same thing, but in 2.5". I heard one in person last week and it sounds even quieter to me than I remember my system being, before I took out the cat.
