Biggest tire?

I am going SC soon and my current tires wont get much grip. They are 205/45/17 I think. If it matters, I am on Konig Bumps, wheel size is 17x7. Im wondering what is the widest tire I can run without anything rubbing.

Hmm alright thanks. I might have to get some new rims then because 225 would be a good step up, but I was looking for like 235 or 240 hopefully because traction will be a problem if im SC'ed.

You know stock s/c's only come with 215's.. As long as you can drive your car you should be good. A 235 is the biggest i would ever go in the cobalt, and even that's a pretty damn big tire..

Alright. I have an auto haha so not to hard to drive. The tires I have on now though are Kuhmo Ecsta ASX and people always say bad things about them but I'll see how they hold up when I go SC in a week or 2. My tires now are almost brand new so I guess I'll see how well they hold up.
