You can only place a BOV between the device making boost and the throttle body. Since the roots style blower is located after the throttle body. No boost before the throttle body means no BOV can work.

You must be smoking crack.
before you tell me im smoking crack go read the thread.
thanks

didn't i just flame the **** out of someone for this same thing a few days ago?

good lord, will it never end?

1st, use the search button and you'd figure out that putting a BOV on a supercharged car is GAY!

2nd, you're buddy.............HAS A SCION..... that should be proof enough of how rice it is.

3rd, IT'S A SUPERCHARGER!!! If you want a woosh, get a turbo, if you want a whine, get a supercharger. But either way you go I can tell you're a ricer tool so you'll end up in someone's rearview because you thought you were fast.

Don't make "pretty noises", make horsepower.

haha, no genius. The riced out BOV you want to put on it for the sole purpose of "sounding cool".

and please, don't start the whole e-thug thing. we live nowhere near each other. threatening physical harm online is quite possibly the gayest thing you can do, we all know we'll never meet and can't do ****, it's gay..............like putting a BOV on a s/c.

BOVs can work on centrifugal s/c kits, not roots kits.

Word. Roadrage sounds like a moron because he doesn't seem to comprehend that fact. And you need one on a centrifugal supercharger other wise you'd get compressor surge.

This has to be one of the gayest threads ever on cobaltss.net. Of course pykie is in here encouraging a newbie to put a BOV on a supercharged car. If you want a blow off valve, go turbo. Why the hell is this in a 2.2 section. End Thread.

OP referenced the TRD kit and wondering why it has a BOV and the SS/SC style supercharger does not. I answered his question and added knowledge.

Take your insults else where.

Reading > You

The last line of his OP asks if there is anyway to do this to an M62. He never onced asked why the TRD kit can and ours can't. At best, that question is only slightly implied.

And we never would have come across this many ricer-wannabe threads a few years ago. My insults will stay right here. I'm tired of all these queer little boys coming on here and asking these riced-out questions. It's only a matter of time before we start being asked the best place to buy official trademarked sponsor stickers.

I heard you can get a BOV for a M62 at Napa, it should be on the shelf next to the rear blinker fluid

Don't forget to pick up some Elbow Grease for the install. I believe a company named Naive makes it.
