break in period

im going to be supercharged saturday , and many people have told me to break the car into boost before going over 3000 rpms , and now my frined told me that it needs 80 hrs or a month before driving hard on it can someone confirm

did you rebuild internals? if not there is no need to break in

no i didnt re building on september, but the gasket all gotta expand and the engines gotta get use to boost , it seems logical .
