ca header

i was looking at the cobalt addiction header for the 2.0 and it says it doesnt fit the 2.2


does anyone know why?

i'm pretty sure it has to do with the SAI but thats just on specific years.. aside from that all of the exhaust components are interchangable

that's a mystery for me...in theory it should bolt right up...as per that you can take the LSJ header and put it on a L61

I think I've read on here that it was rubbing the coolant pipe, you would have to modify it to fit

the early 2005 2.2l models coolant lines were an almost solid line across under the stock exhaust manfold. this unit was found to touch this line and doesn't fit without banging a dent in the header.

i got one on, had it for some time now and no problems. i did notice it was close to that coolant line but its not contacting on mine. so yes it fits

yeah its only the early 05 that had the issue. because the pipie material was different.

I thought that it dindnt fit the 06 cobalt LS
Did you swap your downpipe for the LSJ one like I did?

I was thinking of replacing my LSJ Exhaust manifold with the CA Header
There won't be much of a Hp Gain but I got my $50 worth out of the LSJ Manifold and Even if it's 2 Hp more it's still better than a Stock Manifold
