CA header v1
how is it that the first version on the cobalt addiction header doesnt fit the 2.2 yet fits the 2.4 and2.0, when we all have the same exhaust set-up? all our exhaust are interchangeable, i wanted to see if anobody had any problems with it, cuz i am gunna get the v1 header and the 2.5" dp they have

I have the v1 CA header and their 2.5" de-cat downpipe, and they both fit my 2.4SS like a charm. Don't see why it'd be any different for your 2.2 honestly.

vs1 hits up against a coolant line..u have to move it a little bit so it fits properly...vs2 should be out soon..they just needed a 2.2 to test on..so it fits without any modification., v2 should be out soon

It might also be diffcult adjusting a line when thats where it comes out of the engine, unless you can bend the port on the block.

The line is welded to the block and difficult to move. You might be better off gettting the V2 Header when it comes out or get the DC sports Header at least those are bolt-on for the 2.2 without any modifications needed

yeah its hard to move..but some 2.2. owners have already moved it and are running the header..but for the money i wud wait till v2 comes out..but only thing ur gonna get better hp gain with vs1 vs 2...due to the bigger collector...v2 is really meant for the ss/sc as kenny and i talked about for my car.

If you get the pacesetter you have to take your car to a muffler shop then cut and weld the long tube Header to your downpipe. Unless you get the catless downpipe offered by pacesetter for a few bucks more
The DC sports Header bolts up to your downpipe and costs $370
Pacesetter is $290 so choose carefully

I DONT HAVE TO GO TO A EXHAUST SHOP, oh **** sorry bout the caps, just noticed, well i have all the tools a shop has at home in my garage, i have a compressor, impacts, rachet sockets, welder, only thing i need is a paint room and a car lift, lol, but im thinking of gettin the pacesetter, than just welding it to the CA downpipe, only thing is that the flex pipe they have is to close to the flange i have to cut and re-weld, hmmm
