CAI Intake question

Its estimated on the 2.2L With K&N CAI that at 4800rpms youll get a 6.6HP gain. Well im new to the tuning world, if you took it to say red line of 6000rpms, would that give you more HP gain, or less?

that 6.6 is probably the peak increase in power, so you could make like 2 more hp at like 3000, then 4 more at 6000. so 6.6 is the most you'll see across the band

Oh okay, I'm new to this forum, and new to tuning cars, is there any kind of limit to the posts i can put? I have plenty of questions to ask, and i cant ever seem to find a straight forward answer on just google.

Forum rules wise, no. Members wise though, some people have ***** the size of actual vehicles when they are behind monitors so you might catch some of that. Post away I say.

Theres plenty of information available on turbocharging and supercharging your car if you look in the "stickies" at the top of the 2.2 l61 area one page back from where we are now. i was in your shoes not too long ago and now im a month away from a supercharger build. the "Search" button on here will also help you net lots of useful information.
