been seeing alot of these custom intake mods, just thought i'd throw mine is aswell...i had this setup before my inner fender wall went missin(it flew off b/c my genious gf didnt bolt it on right)...but basically, all i did was follow the 2.2 airbox mod and add a coupler and a pipe with a filter to it and wammo presto...CAI...no codes, no problems...
engine bay

the gap the pipe goes thru(breather was on there for show only)

Nice but that silencer on top of the engine is still a bottleneck in the system and an intake system is just like an exhaust system in a sense that it's only as good as it's narrowest component

but basically all you do is put the coupler on the MAF adapter thing than after the coupler put the pipe and the filter, clamp down, and there you go...
