Lets see some proof. I'm calling bullshit on the 206whp/213wtq there is no way thats true. You cant get that big of an increase from a cai, 2.4l intake mani, exhaust and a tune.

well theres 3 people on **************** that have the trifecta tune and only run 15.1s or 15.0s. and i know thats all the car has cuz i drove it down the track 3 times and got a 15.136, 15.123, and 15.114. im just saying. im not sayin the tune is **** im just saying.

unless they were shitting you and it was an ss/sc that i could see.. but NO way a 2.2 with full bolt ons will make that hp and such without boost or nitrous.. or head work, engine work / cams ...

you need to learn to read a bit more.. modded cobalts dont make more trq then hp unless they have one of the above... the 2.4 intake manifold alone nulls it .. because it holds more trq across the band (a flatter trq curve) so it causes it to have more hp on the top end due to this ..

i'd recommend not talking to me like i dont know what i'm talking about since you apparently dont realize the engines in the ions are the same ones the balts have

i will put my damn car note out there that a 2.2 cobalt without boost nitrous or a rediculous engine build that puts that out it's not happening on an accurate dyno

hell tom put down 186 and like 171 wtrq and he has stg 2 cams and a lapped head ... he couldve put down a bit over 190 but his mods already put him out of that

not to mention the only way you can tune 06 2.2 balts without going standalone to the fullest is with going through trifecta performance and KHK isn't a dealer ...
they may have been shittin me. they didnt mention a supercharger or anything. maybe it was.i called them like 45 mins ago and they said they dont remember. so iono.

i know it is but im not even tuned at all and im running 15.24@90.8mph on street tires. i really just want to keep up with my boys 2008 civic si. hes runnin 14.6 and i want to be atleast even with him. you know what i mean. im sorry if i sounded like an idiot before sayin that 2.2s with intake and exhaust and a tune can make over 200hp or even over 190. i basically just made me look like a ****** *******. i apologize for that.

agree 100% - i actually dynoed at 180.16, is actually higher due to bad afr that was fixed after, but no dyno proof

and btw, the high track times is all the driver... TRUST ME!!!!!

btw, no way in HELLLLLLLLLLLLLL they made that kind of power, i dotn care WHAT tune you have, at some point you will platue (sp?)
and btw, even IF vinces tunes were canned (which they are NOT) i tuned with him IN PERSON and I have EVERY bolt on plus some internal work....
no way they hit that

is it possible to do N/A over 200? HELL YES!!! in fact its possible to hit HIGH 200s with the right build...but youll get there faster, cheaper, and more reliably on boost...end discussion on that! In order for me to get where I want to be (high 200's) it is going to cost me about 4-5k more then what I ahve already spent...which I will be doing, although the sched is pushed back due to mels car being totalled and having some costs associated with that

to hit 200whp with a balt, you WILL need a cam, full bolt ons, and one of the following: either high comp pistons, or port work...pref both

now, high comp pistons are not offered, but you can have them custom made, i found a well known manuf that will make me a set to spec for a great price (yay making contacts at sema ) but port work is easy and rel cheap. with a good setup, a 2.2 could hit the alleged 20x whp fairly easy.

also, they are ALLLLLLL correct. your tq will NOT be higher then your whp when doing this kind of build...PERIOD!!!!!

without boost, nitrous or major cams/ port work and full bolt ons you're not going to hit 200 whp anyway about it . the 171whp 180wtrq your friend had is even high for a 2.2 unless they have cams
damn only 225? where in NY are you lol
