CAN ANYONE ANSWER MY FREAKING QUESTION
wheres the brake booster is that by the intake manifold. and whats egr.
if you could possibly post a picture of where it is with something pointing to it thatd be great and i could undo the gauge and put a new tube in to the wastgate and bov, and try the car without the gauge.

the brake booster itself is on the driver's side right up against the firewall. the hose is about 3/4" thick and i cant remember where it hooks up to the engine.
EGR is exhaust gas recirculation. puts some of the exhaust back into the intake to burn it completly. Thnking back you most likely dont have it now, because you went turbo. not sure if it came stock on 2.2s or not

so tapping into the line from the bypass valve to the wastegate could have caused a problem. I can replace that and leave the gauge unhooked to see if the car runs ok i guess.
Anybody know how to dicharge a capacitor? or what size the bolt for our battery connectors are. i need a new bolt for the neg?
i have a gauge without vac installed my buddy has one with vac that i had in there. it read 0

When I did my turbo on my Cav I used a vacuum box. Found it to be easier to organize.

Ahh I see... Your car is still registering vac, your gauge is just not reading it. I personally would install one that shows vac, that way you can see what it's doing.
I had my vac box Td off of my break booster on the box's main vac feed nipple. Boost gauge, boost controller, BOV were fed vac from the nipples on the front of the vac box.
My turbo, W/G & boost controller's map sensor, were fed off the nipple on the compressor side of the turbo.
Worked like a charm.

i had a gauge with vac and i read 0!!!!!! and does anyone have picks of how the vac box looks hooked up. my bov ties into the recirc fittings and has a line to the wastegate nipple thats how the garrett kit runs. so what else would i do?
I have pics of how mine was set up at home, however Im at work and don't have those pictures here.
I want to say something is off with how your vac lines are set up. You might want to go over all your vac lines and make sure they are set up properly.

i dont know if anyone said it yet but a 2.2 has 2 vacuum lines. the brake booster and another that is a hard plastic line. facing your car, looks down at the top left of the throttle body is the line. if you follow it, it leads to a little black and white box that is being held onto the head and then on the opposite side is more plastic line.
i just fixed this issue, took me months to find out the problem and a couple hundred dollars.

Ok........ If the car ran fin before but you had a blown fuse and the car started acting like this when you replaced the fuse I think the first place you need to look is into whatever circuit/system that fuse is part of.....seems pretty obvious thats been neglected and could easily be the cause.
Yeah i noticed this also with my s/c belt off it chokes itself with the stock tb and dies really easy.
how would i clean the tb is there special stuff?
Could you maybe post them when you get a chance
What would i look for to check i replaced them and some of the clips were off then i redid it and it still dies. would there be a little moistness on the tip (non sexual)? and does anywhere sell the injector clips thingys
