Can't decide.. Please help.

I don't know which one to choose. The GMPP sport cat-back, or the MagnaFlow cat-back. Both are around the same price. I've been reading and I don't know if it's still true, but does the MagnaFlow still rust because of the steel quality? The reason I can't choose is because, it's either rust, or better sound. Please help.

Also will installing the MagnaFlow void my warranty on the whole car? Or just the exhaust?

It won't void your engine warranty either way...

GMPP comes with warranty but you can always go custom and get the muffler for magnaflow around 60 bucks.

So, GMPP? I've hear the sound of the GMPP, but I haven't heard a really nice sound clip or video yet. I've listened to them all, especially in those exhaust threads. Which should I go with Touring or Sport? Also is magnaflows piping still 400s instead of 304? I might add that I have a Cobalt LT 2.2.

GMPP Sport. Straight tip.

cant go wrong

The only people so far who didnt like sport....were people who really wanted something closer to stock....quieter and mellow, they usually really love the touring.

generally most people love the growl of the sport.

I have had my magnaflow cat back for almost 2 years and i live in michigan and mine does not have any rust whats so ever i dont know who said they rust. Why would a product that Mario Andrettie promotes rusts unless some one bought a bad exhaust that was not made by magnaflow. Anyways the magnaflow cat back is a real deep sound and not raspy i have also have stage 2 once i had it put it the sound got deeper. Hope this helps you man and good luck.

They said the piping has a lot of surface rust, but the resonator, muffler and tip. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...&highlight=att
Did they stop using the T-400 SS? And started to use T-304? Might I add that I live in Alabama, Only about 60 miles from Panama City. So we do have salt up here.

Bump, please I need some answers haha, I'm wanting to order my exhaust today.
