so i installed my 2.4 manifold and the oil catch can (same as OP)........there was about 1/8" of oil in the old intake manifold, the TB was moderately dirty and there were some oil droplets in my intake piping btw i have 22,000 miles on my car

this is def a worthwhile investment, the amount of oil i had in my 2.2 intake manifold wasn't huge but enough to make me very happy i installed a catch can

i finished it when it was dark and did have to play around with the SAI........i removed the hoses and siliconed a little filter directly to the SAI unit.......thats gave me enough room to mount off the same location you did, without modifying my GMPP intake

I'm at 15,000 miles, but I do not have a 2.4 intake manifold yet. Couldn't I remove my 2.2 intake manifold and clean it? Where does the oil build up?

at the bottom of the manifold........and im sure u can just blow it out with a compressor......but you def cant whip it down, there is no way to get your hand inside.......and if your gonna go through all the trouble to take it out you may as well just put on the 2.4 manifold

That's the thing. I don't want to rip the bitch apart for a little oil buildup.

Don't you need a tune for that **** anyway?

A tune would help, but you don't need it. I would recommend getting one after you install all the bolt ons.
