check engine light
check engine light
so in the past i bought a jet chip, installed it and messed my car up, took it to the dealer and then they gave me a new ecm or ecu(IDK) when i drive around my engine light will come on. then after awhile it will turn back off. i disconnected the battery that got rid of it, but then it came back on. it seems to come on when i race some one or just doing a couple of pulls. i do have a k&n intake and i did clean it, do u think that mas flow sensor is plugged??? i read that kn can do this so help out if u can. AND YES I NOW I CANT SPELL WORTH A ****

Auto parts store would be best, you can get EP cleaner but MAF cleaner is better just because it says it's for MAF....

is your car and auto or manual?
Auto have no idea...
but
If its a manual the it could be the clutch sensor(s)...
I had a similar problem and my car went to the dealer 4 times before they could fix... if they did fix it, i think they just pulled the check engine light fuse to be honest...

next time the light pops on go down to auto zone and have them read it (they'll do it for free). if it comes back as bank one rich or lean condition etc. then it's your MAF. I think the code is P0171. Go back inside and buy the CRC mas air flow sensor cleaner. It's only like 5 bucks
Invest in a small code reader -- you can get one for around $50 that has an erase feature. Check them out a autozone or other parts house. Thta way when you get a CEL you can find out what it is for on-the-spot
