climbs zzp stage 2 turbo build (updated 4/21/13)

well i picked up a complete zzp stage 2 turbo kit with the water to air intercooler set up, had everything minus injectors
ill start with my current mods:
ttr motor mount inserts
bc coils
fe5 front sway
magnaflow axles back
aem cold air intake, (will keep just in case i convert to a front mount set up and use it for charge piping)

Parts list:
zzp stage 2 turbo kit include:
-borg warner 256 turbo .55 ar exhaust housing with 3in v band dp flange
-zzp stainless manifold w/ 38mm v band wastegate
-tial mvs 38mm wastegate
-zzp 3in turbo downpipe w/ wg dump, catted, migt cut off the wg dump, weld the hole shut and make it and external dump
-air to water intercooler
-zzp stage 3 heat exchanger
-tial Q 50mm bov
-03/04 mustang cobra cooler pump
-3in stainless exhaust, welded in a magnaflow muffler
-spec stage 3 clutch
-cobalt series -30/30 boost gauge

than i picked up a brand new gm oil pan, getting oil bung welded into it soon

Have to get/do
-need ev6 60lb injectors
-2.4l intake manifold and throttle body
-wideband, and oil pressure gauge
-weld wideband bung into dp
-new gaskets for everything, intake, exhaust, t3, etc
-pre order my tune that way its ready when install is complete than do some logging and get tune tweeked till its perfect

some pics, i need to clean the spray paint off the heat exchanger since some kid didnt want to mask it off for the damn evo mod
and this is one of zzp's orginal 2.2/2.4l turbo kit with an air to water set up, the current kit has be updated to an air to air front mount, which eventually i might swap it to, or just leave it as is because it is different, you dont see it every day and people might be like damn he must make alot of power when im only looking for 250/260whp, im guessing 260 should be a reasonable goal on like 10/11 lbs
i know i have to tune with trifecta, can someone enlighten me a little bit on how trifecta works? wish i could use hp tuner one of my good buddies is an hp tuner dealer lol

here it is thrown together on the bench at work

For Trifecta you either have to find a dealer (someone who has the cable), rent the cable by deposit, or buy the cable, and all you have to buy the tune but I dont think the method has any effect the cost of the tune (not sure on this)

Everything looks good, with your goals you'll have to pay attention to the tune and keep from beating on it easy to bend and brake a rod or destroy a piston

well a little update, just bought my exhaust monday, was a 3in dezod exhaust that the muffler seem broke, picked it for 120 bucks, cut out the broken muffler and welded in a magnaflow straight through muffler, just found a clutch for the car, buddy of mine has a spec stage 3 that he used for 3k miles till he blew the motor and went forged, swapped in a ky stage 4 at the same time to handle the power. and i sent some parts to powder coat, got a cobalt series -30/30 boost gauge, and ordered a dual pod gauge cluster

need to find a 2.4 manifold and throttle body, wideband, and oil pressure gauge
have a few pics

It's 10 times brighter in person! I love it! I will stand out that's for sure!! I just cant wait to boost it though, just collecting the parts as I come along them, in no real rush, Funny part is I never looked for any of the parts, some guy face booked me asking if I wanted the turbo kit, and for the price I couldn't pass it up even if I was just gonna flip it, than some kid at sheetz was like u want a 3in exhaust, again was like yup, than yesterday I was talking to a kid and told him I'm holding off boosting my car till I get a clutch and he was like ill sell u a stage 3 spec 6 puck with 3k miles on it lol. So I can say I'm doing a pretty good budget build without even meaning too, I would of gladly spent money for new parts, but I I'm getting barely used stuff cheap I'm good, the turbo kit has 8k miles on it, the clutch has 3k and the exhaust doesn't have more than 20k lol
