clutch question need help
ok i just bought the fidanza 7.5lbs flywheel and im buying a clutch to i looking at a clutch on TTR site its a spec stage 3 clutch and a exedy racing clutch im just wanted to know what would be better or last longer and .... i was told my flywheel might not fit with the spec clutch ....... thanks for your help i own a 2005 chevy cobalt 2.2 sedan
From what i have researched the SPEC clutch would work fine with the flywheel. What i've seen is that it doesnt work well with our stock flywheel. Exedy only makes a stage 1 clutch for our car which gives 70% over stock. Should be plenty for full bold ons.
Wait a minute, why are you looking at a stage 3 clutch, are you going to be running a mild-high modified engine? If not dont buy it. your daily drivability is going to suck and you wont be producing the power the clutch is made for. It would be pointless. Get an Exedy stg 1 or SPEC stg 1. I have heard great things about the Exedy clutch
