I believe the guy who did that worked as a GM tech.. I think he said it was a pretty advanced modification

Yep many have even converted from an 06 wheel style to an 07 wheel. It's such a great idea. Not sure how the computer controls the cruise control but it does.

It was me.

You do need to fabricate some wiring harnesses and you need a Tech2.

alright, sounds too complicated for me. Just thought it would be a good idea if it was a do it yourself project.

I think one other guy did it, with help from me and some aftermarket parts.

Youll need a cruise control switch, switch plate and steering wheel harness. You can buy all these.

Youll also need to fabricate a two wire harness from the Airbag coil to the Body Control Module. You can get the necessary(and difficult to use) .64mm connectors from a slave yard by cutting apart a harness, or you can by a radio harness and take it apart, and yuse it to make the circuits you need.

Once you do all this you need to get a hold of a Tech2 to turn on the Cruise in the BCM.

Radio controls are the same process, but no Tech2 is needed.
