My cruise control randomly decides not to work about half the time, whats up with this? Do other LS's have this problem?

 

We have cruise control?

 

On the steering wheel. 06 LS sedan

 

i have an 06' Ls Coup that has the same problem with the cruse control not working some times

 

Is it an auto or a manual?

do yours just at random cut out? Mine started doing that the other day. I have an 06 persuit

 

Is the light not coming on when you try to toggle the switch, or is it actually showing on, but not responding when you set it?

Reason why I ask...

One of the only things I've actually had a problem w/ on my car was that the cruise toggle switch on the steering wheel wouldn't turn on. Freakin' pissed me off real bad, having to drive hundreds of miles on the highway w/o it.

Well, one day, I got so pissed I started pressing on it w/ a good amount of pressure and running my thumb up and down the button until...CLICK...freakin' button started working again and hasn't given me a problem since...

 

Try resetting the pcm

 

Also, try pulling your emissions fuse in the fusebox under the hood. Cruise control works through that fuse and if it's blown, that's why it's not working...
