Probably lol it depends on the mechanic of course. Maybe a friend that knows about that would help you out

I spun most members know how to do a pison swap, we can do cams here for free because we have the tool from the dealership for it, but pistons requires engine to come out, not cheap, check with dealer On how many hrs it is, than go get quotes from shops
Most charge by the hour not what they are doing

i wouldnt see why not. But a reputable engine builder would be your best bet.

Im truely blessed in the sense that I have close to 6 diffrent engine builders that i know of around here who only deal with high performane racing engines to help me out with my future honda build

There's quite a few people on here who can do it, but personally I would never trust anyone but myself or an actual tech on internals. It takes a lot of preparation and organization of everything, knowing what bolts are torqued to exactly how much, ect ect. Most of the time a hone of the cylinder walls is recommended anyways, because the forged pistons expand more and tend to rub. I highly recommend an actual mechanic to do it for you, but like you said yourself, it will cost you.

I would say it's going to run you a minimum of $800 if you take it in. It's a good 8 hour job if you're doing pistons/rods/bearings.

i recommend taking to the shop. You may pay more. but most shops give a warranty. Cause if you f*** it up or a friend. your SOL.
