Someone know why oh why the 2 cobalt i own first a 4 door base cobalt 2005 ( crashed between 2 other car ) and my 2 door cobalt ls 2005 have speed cut off at 205 kmph and have a little more power than all other cobalt i've seen including my girlfriend cobalt a 2006 base cobalt ls, all have speed cut off to 175 kmph ( sorry for the kmph i'm from canada héhé )

the dealer can't tell me why .......

the higher rated tires and/or sports backage up the speed limiter some.

my fist cobalt was a base 4 door with only ss spoiler as option really really base with 15 inch wheel

 

doesnt matter if its base or a top of the line ltz...

higher rated tires....it was on the car.......therefore an option.

you can have a base friggin model (roll up windows, no sunroof, etc) yet still get a premium sound system if you wanted...
