I bought a motor but the new motor has strange ports under exhaust ports that mine does not have, im not sure how to add pictures via mobile phone

Maybe you got an engine with SAI, and your original didn't have it? I don't know for sure just trying to help.

For pics try the photobucket app, or plug your phone into a computer and do that way.

 

Yeah you will need to upload from another site like photobucket i believe. My guess is the head you have is from a newer motor

Yep, SAI. You need an older 06 or an 05 head without it. Although if you use a header for non SAI you might be fine as is... not sure.

 

update, the holes under #2 and #3 do not go anywhere, they are just slight dips. the casting numbers are the same as my 06s head, and when i pulled it off the motor everything on it seems the same as my 06 which i know does not have SAI, im needing someone who has pictures of the exhaust ports maby from a header install to compare

 

Yeah the holes shouldn't matter. They are covered by the manifold and are only used with sai equipped cars.
