...cause I don't think so. I stopped by a local exhaust shop, and I was thinking about getting the rksport lip kit and since it has two exhaust holes, I was thinking about a dual exhaust too.

Well this is what he said:

Single outlet: Tubing - $250; Magnaflow muffler - $200 == $450
Dual outlet: Tubing - $250; 2 Magnaflow mufflers - $400; Y tube - $180 == $830

...but he also said I would have a 90 HP increase hahahaha.

Honestly, I'm 90% sure I won't do that, but I was curious. Still though, ~ $500 for a single outlet CUSTOM exhuast??

you'll lose power with a dual muffler setup on a N/A in-line 4 cylinder. Not to mention it will sound really raspy.

*sighs* Yeah...I was really interested in the GM touring or performance exhaust, but I can't justify the price. I just want a deep, mellow, quiet sound that gives really decent gains.

I was looking at CED... I just looked again and their prices actually haven't gone up yet. I'm still not sure which one to look at though. I'm afraid that the touring will be too quiet or the performance will be too loud...

Think so? I've heard sound clips, but it's impossible to imagine how loud it would sound in person. I don't want anything crazy loud...but idk. Notice any gains?

Rolfcopterrrrrr 90HP?! from exhaust lmao what an idiot. Even if you upgraded every pipe from ur intake to ur tip you wouldnt get more than 50hp lol.

some people.... anyway man if you're gonna spend 500$ on some custom crap that some shmo made you might as well add a 100$ and get the gm one. its dyno proven to add some fair power and it keeps ur warranty intact. think about it...

I'm not even gunna think about spending that much on a custom exhaust, trust me. I've always leaned towards the GMPP exhaust, and I think I'll listen to my first instinct. I'm not sure if I'll get it really soon or not, but that's probably what I'll end up going with.
