Does higher octane = more mileage?
So, if you get your car tuned for 93 octanes your able to get benefit?
My buddy had a impreza RS, and when he turbo charged it. The guys that installed it and tuned it told him he should use to 91octane.

yes, you will only gain from octane, if your car requires it.
there are also limits to that too,
running 108 octane on a say a 2.4 N/A for example is pointless even if you tune for it,
because you have more octane than you need to reach peak timing without knock.
I.E if the peak power for the car is hitting at around 25* of timing, and you can run 25* of timing on 87 octane, why bother tuning for higher octane?
