Doing a new build
has this guy looked under the hood of his car recently?
where do you plan on putting this motor? To make it RWD you will need to rotate the engine lengthwise, then put it in the engine bay............of a cobalt.
6" exhaust? Have you heard the analogy of blowing a spit-ball through a straw? Which will move faster, blowing through a thin straw, or a pipe? You need some back-pressure to create boost. Pressure is what creates the explosion. Getting a bigger exhaust is merely about getting optimal airflow on a mass-produced car governed by MPG and emissions standards. If this wasn't true, then why aren't we all running around with 10" exhausts? **** if you could gain more HP by continuously going up in exhaust diameter I'd be running a 12" exhaust right now.
