i live in a town who has a certified magnaflow distributor/shop. They make bad ass custom exhaust for an awesome price, i've had them make me 3 on my previous cars. Would it be a good idea to have them make a custom downpipe while they are doing the exhaust? If so what would be good to match a say 2.25 - 2.5 custom catback exhaust? The downpipe would have the cat on it. Highflow cat? any ideas appreciated

 

either do 2.25 all the way or 2.5 all the way, why would you want to mix?

 

i'm not sure thats why i was asking! heh, so keep the dp the same size as the exhaust right?

stock:
2.25" pre-cat
2.0" post cat

suggestion:
2.25" for balanced performance
2.5" to shift power band a bit higher

keeping ur exhaust the same size as the dp is ok, but if you have no need for 2.5" than just get the 2.25" catback to match the 2.25" dp...

ps-mine is 2.5 all the way :p but ima change that, getting borla exhaust...
