Dual air intake

Hey guys, I've looked around and I can't find anything about a dual air intake for an 08 cobalt ls... I wanted to know why it's unheard of I guess for the cobalt at least. I have one on my car, but still wonder how it would compare to a injen intake. Can I get some help and opinions? Thanks

It's usually for cars that have two TBs.

Yeah one filter is plenty sufficient! anything else is overkill. I just want to see some pics of it.

Ok def I have to get home first I'll put some on tonight. I would def say it's prolly over kill since when you look at it you'd think there's a turbo. LOL but I built it myself and it's sounds and runs pretty nice. And yes one throttle body and it's a cold air and ram air in one system. The one big plus that I've noticed is gas milage! I have plugs and this intake and am getting a maximum of 45mpg at 55 mph. I'll up loss pics in a couple of hours to show everyone

Right before the split or y pipe so it gets the reading from both intakes. I had to make a hole LOL

Ya when I upload pictures tonight you'll be able to see. There's a split y pipe which converts the two intakes into one and then it's like a 25 degree bend and then 90 into the throttle body and on the 25 degree pipe is where I sized it up and drilled a rectangle hole that the indicator sits in. It took me 5 and a half hours to build this... But I was bored and always want to male my car faster haha

I get home at 12:30 I'll upload them as soon as possible haha

Well if its not throwing a code, then I'm sure its working fine for you.. The only reason to get a new intake is so the dick heads on this site don't have a flame war with you..

ehh, im not gonna flame him, but i get the same gas mileage as he does at 55mph, and i can guarentee there isnt any diffrence in performance vs. a regular intake type system.

I'm waiting to see a picture that shows the MAF sensor located on just one of the intake tubes and not after they combine. lol
