And see that's the thing on the dual intake, I had to make a better location for the mai because it would idle rough and the engine light came on, so I scrapped it and rebuilt it again and now withthe mai closer to the tb before they split and now the engine lights not on anymore and it idles smooth

Ya? See I think ram is just loud. The dual one I have on right now sounds like an exhaust haha. But y'all think cold would be better since I'm in Texas?

heres the parts to make one, the Y tubes are3/4 down the page

its a cool idea but mainly just for show, if you gain anything above .05hp i would be impressed

I have plugs and this intake and am getting a maximum of 45mpg at 55 mph. I'll up loss pics in a couple of hours to show everyone
I can get 44mpg with my injen CAI and hahn aftermarket exhaust traveling from PDC to LaCrosse WI.

Facepalm.

You DON'T get "the best of both", you decrease the efficiency of a cold air intake.

ya lol, i want to see too...but as far as functionality...epic fail. you dotn get the best of both worlds.
short ram intake is a shorter run and cuases less worry of sucking in water
cold air intake gets MUCH colder air to the engine

doing both does NOTHING for you.
and with my setup i can get 50-60mpg at 55mph...but that means NOTHING as far as average for everyday driving

if you want to be new and unique...then cool, stand by it...but as far as performence...no dice...

Its not quite as ghetto as I'd imagined but still pretty ghetto. by the way, what you were trying to describe was a short ram intake, not a ram air.

Well you already have all the parts for a decent intake. just flip all that around, make a short ram and call it a day. No need to spend 200+ dollars on an intake when you already have everything you need X2 lol
