Just ordered the ebay intake, cannot wait to get it. Just gotta find out the filter # and get one. Seems to be an easy install, last one I did was on my Lincoln LS8, was not an ebay kit though lol

the filter works just fine, but if you are going to rplace it son you might as well do it now or you will have to take apart your headlight assembly again later

was not sure who you were talking to about doing the switch now, but I was saying I cannot change filters as I have yet to get the intake yet, if you were talking to someone else, than ignore that one lol.

i can change my filter as quick as 3 mins, mainly cuz i dont have the black inner fender wall thing, i need to go buy a new one, , anyway, i bought my AEM filter v4 the intake even came in, just cuz i wanted tohave it ready b the time it came in, that way i can install it ASAP and not have to wait, im very impatient, trust me, like right now im waiting for a check from the insurance so i can get my car fixed, but i want the $$ now, cuz im buying a aftermarket body kit, instead of the OEM...

thats a pic of what the AEM filter looks like already installed, no fitment issues

Preston.... I would go with the Typhoon or GMPP personally. the ebay intake work. mount is filimsy, fit is not great. TYPHOON really impressed me. trully an amazing sound and it performs. I was so impressed. My friends face says it all.

GOT TYPHOON!!....

anyway that has been my experience. no experience with GMPP intake but it is GM so it should perform and work right. Good luck.

yeah they have the filter on the shelf, well the ebay intake has good fitment, i have no issues with it, andi had a GMPP intake b4 this one, i like this one better, it fits perfect, and it even comes with the little braket thing to hold it in place, the black rubber thing you get with the 2 thread thing coming out each side, they go into the hole in the innder fender wall, and slides in thru the bracket thin the intake has, so it hold up nicely, no fitment issues, no nothin, works just fine, no need to go the expensive route, it works all the same, i will take soem in-dept pictures of it later 2morrow

I haven't got any codes. Make sure all your fittings are tight.

The filter is before the MAF , so I don't think that's the prob. Disconnect the + cable from the battery for about 30sec. to reset the ECU.
