Question engine breakin?

i just hit 59064k miles and after the 59060 my car has been pulling like crazy! i was just wondering if i had finally hit the break in point of my engine or what. im not complaining about the sudden gain in acceleration or anything i was just curious on why its doing it all of the sudden

Yes, 59060 is the magic # for chevys... after that mile your car gains an instant 50whp & 50wtq; I think chevy put it in the ecm that 59060 is awesome and the car should just have more power from then on automagically.

No seriously though,... lol, it is December, so you're probably just noticing added acceleration due to the colder/more dense oxygen rich air.... just a guess...

Oh yea,... and your engine has been broke in since about mile #50 (Yes, Fifty). lol

Just cooler more dense air. These arent hondas which are barely broken in until 100,000 miles. {rolls eyes}

I wish there was a better explaination than what in our manual but many people here believe that driving in "I" isn't going to instantly destroy your tranny but could pose a problem over time due to heating. At least, thats how I understand it.

go to your local auto parts store and pick up a transmission cooler. hunterkiller has one. ask him how it was routed. iirc it wasn't that hard to route it.

colder air = denser air = more power.

also add the fact that he has a cai and its an even colder air charge over stock intake. lol.

no **** there's going to be some more power made over driving around in warmer weather.
