I'm kind of in the same boat as you britt, but haven't the slightest clue as where to start.

Corsa Touring, it gives great power gains, and it is just a little more aggressive sounding than stock. Also it is one of the highest quality systems out there.

slp is NOT the way to go if you're not looking for loud

magnaflow is not that bad, gmpp is not that bad.

Only things with GMPP is it is only 2.25" which is the same size the stock SS/SC has.... So you are basically just getting a better sound, not much power increase, compated to a 2.5" system like Corsa, or Magnaflow...

just get a new muffler then. cheaper that way. not sure what to recommend, but that's the way to go if you don't care about more power.

Stock SS/SC exhaust is 2.5". The GMPP exhaust was dynoed @ 12hp gain on a SS.

Seeing as you have an LT the GMPP touring exhaust would be a good choice , mine is deep and lower toned until you want it to be louder ( Far Right Pedal ) .

whatever u do dont buy a cat back.......customize your own and save 400 dollars......buy a muffler and take it to a local muffler shop and have them bend up pipe from the cat back....muffler = 100bux pipe and labor = 100bux maybe

If you want dual exhausts, than just buy two mufflers that you like the sound of... I have 2 Magnaflow exhausts part no. 14826, & I love the way they sound.

Then go to a exhaust shop, & they will make a Y-Split & put your duals on, but I highly suggest that you get some kind of lower rear valence/lip before getting duals, because it looks kinda dumb with 2 tips just sitting there...

But Good Luck!

Stock ss/sc exhaust is not 2.5 it is indeed 2.25.

the LT he has is 1.7" piping going to 2.25 would be perfect for him. 2.5 imo is too open for the Non SC/TC 2.2's
