k im looking for an exhaust for my 08 ls.

theres so many and im not sure what to get

i really like the megan exhaust. but theres also magnaflow gmpp ark corsa and so on and so on

so what do you guys have and what do you think i should get
i want something that is deep and doesn't sound ricy at all

 

yo i have a 2008 cobalt ls as well and i got the megan exhaust and dude let me tell you, its amazing! from my opinion. its not buzzy or ricy sounding at all instead it has a deep tone and its pretty loud. Its also amazing for the price you pay as well. and if not that then i also would go with either corsa or ark, but personally megan. make sure its the cat-back though thats the one i have.

 

yeah thats kinda what i want. i mean i can get it for 369 off ebay.

is it "too loud"
because i dont want it to be a cop magnet

yeah that sounds reallly good. i was thinking of getting the gmpp but my friend with a magnaflow was like its too quiet
he has a ls with magnaflow and a cai and you cant really hear the exhaust when in his car.

 

Tsudo N1 is a deep mellow tone. "Ricey" is an opinion on a sound, so my "ricey" and your "ricey" might not be the same, but I would def say that this is a good sounding exhaust.

OP.. GMPP is pretty loud when on it.. But when cops are nearby.. It's easy to play it mellow and not attract attention.. I love it.

 

yeah idk i heard the tsudo was like cheap. i mean alot of ppl say they like it

i kinda like the gmpp a little better

I have the GMPP sport and love it nice deep tone. my buddy has a ls with the magnaflow it sounds good to, from what i can tell just buzzing around town mine has a little fuller sound but in higher rpms his has a great sound. Really just look on youtube and pick the one you like the best.

one reason i dont want megan is because the tip is 4 inches and the tsudo is 4.5
i dont want a huge coffee can size tip

 

I have the magnaflow exhaust. It quite, untill you get onto the throtle. But also remeber that other supporting mods will change the pitch of your exhaust.

 

i have always thought the turdo exhaust sounded awful

 

why not use a MES than? they use a 3.5" exhaust tip resembling a stock tip

You should get a Mandrel Exhaust Systems exhaust with the mangaflow muffler if that's the sound you want to go for. Saves you about $400 and mine personally has put up with a lot (Even ohio's salty-ass winter roads)
