Exhaust Help
i just bought a tsudo n1 catback just came in the mail today. Heres the problem, for the past three day i have been trying to break free the nuts connected to the downpipe. there just not budging. ive been under there with PB Blaster openend's a box wrench and a propane torch but nothing is working. I would perfer not to have to go at it with a grinder but if i have to i will. can anybody help me with this?
How long have you had it on the car, the stock one? I had mine on for a year and a half and it was a bitch to get off. You just gotta get at it from the right angle and torque the **** out of it. It worked for us but it took 2 decent sized guys to get it off. Good luck, you're gonna love the Tsudo.
gunna try air tools tomorrow hopefully.
its an 07 with 52,000 on it and when i first started it was just a ball of rust now you can at least see the bolt. ive been trying o get it red hot but its just not getting that hot

even you did it already. Ive done this 2 ways. on my balt i sprayed zep 45 (a penetrating/lube spray) on the bolts a week before i got my cat back. broke em loose by the time the exhaust got to my house.
second way which i had to do on my buddies lancer, is i grinded the bolts out without damaging the flange. went out and bought new bolts/nuts and installed them with the catback.
hope this helps future people with this problem.
