exhaust manifold question

I have a ss/sc manifold, it has a o2 sensor in it and my stock 2.2 doesn't. Can I put my first o2 sensor in the manifold and use the stock spot on the downpipe as a wideband bung?

Someone with better L61 exhaust expertise please correct me if im wrong, but if you put your pre-cat 02 in the header and place your wideband in the pre-cat 02 bung on your dp I am 99% sure you'll be good if you're replacing the headers there no point unless you lose the double catted piece of crap DP on the car throw a new cat-back on it too.

thats what I thought. Well I am sticking with the stock exhaust until I find a good deal on a catback. I am getting a downpipe from sc hopefully if the guy ever makes up his mind about it.
