can anyone tell me were i can find a set of exhaust manifold bolts or studs and nuts? installed my header and cannot get the studs to stay tight and it keeps leaking pretty bad, most of the nuts came off the studs and there in pretty rusted shape, would like to replace

my problem can partially and most likely be from the gasket i used, i used the one that came with header, its a thin metal with paper on each side and i should have known better, but just cause i do not want to remove it a third time i will try the copper

Best move is to order new ones from the dealer, they come with loc-tite on them and the correct locking nuts. If you wanna find the hardware locally, i'd recommend stainless steel and plenty of anti-sieze. Thread is M8x1.25

the only gains/flow/sound you're going to see is from an aftermarket header. bad mab or zzp will be your best bet

Have it milled flat. Any fabrication shop with a belt sander can do this.

Or, you can get old-school, and do it yourself. Find a nice flat piece of concrete (most driveways work well, or sidewalks ), wet it with water, put the flange on it and move it in a circular/figure-8 pattern. After a couple of passes you will be able to see where the high spots are. From there, to save time, i'd suggest taking a file/sandpaper/grinding wheel and GENTLY remove material from the high spots. Take a little, the put it back on the ground and check for flatness. You will be able to get it close enough that the gasket will seal, and it won't cost you anything.

if anyone is interested, im now running a pacesetter mid/long tube header (not sure which it would be called, and a 2.25 catless dp and 2.25 tsudo exhaust and i am pleased with the sound, i did not notice and low end power loss in fact it feels to pull harder low and top end both. for how cheap it was im very pleased with the set up and would recomend it to anyone looking for a good tone that is not that loud
