I was just wondering what year GM started putting the 2.0 manifold on the 2.2 at the factory. I think it was either 07 or 08 but not sure. I am looking for a 2.0 manifold gasket and no one carries one for the 2.0 but they have the 2.2 listed as in stock and if its the same manifold then im good.

 

2.0 manifold never came on a 2.2 or vice versa.

 

Im pretty sure they changed it for better fuel economy but if they didnt would a 2.2 gasket work for a 2.0 or could it be modified? No one has the damn 2.0 gasket in stock and I was planning on doing the header and dp this weekend

 

The 2007+ mani's are close to the same. I dont see why the 2.2 gasket wouldnt work.

 

there close but not quite i got a 07 with a 05 ss sc 2.0 header and it was a alot bigger...
