Exhaust question

Sorry for the noob question but I'm confused by the exhaust I have with my 2007 ls coupe. It was my understanding that the exhaust went Header, DP, Catalytic converter and then the catback system, but after seeing a pic of the exhaust I didn't see where the CC goes. The pic looked like it just went header, DP and the catback.

Again sorry for the noob question. For all I know, the guy could of been running catless in the pic and that just threw me off. Thanks for the help.

Cc as in the cat? The cat is on the downpipe. Some choose to not get a downpipe with a cat and some do.

Ah, I see. I was thinking of getting a Bad-Mab header, ZZP 2.5 DP and a Magnaflow catback but then I saw the ZZP DP has a option to add the Catalytic Converter. Thanks guys. I knew I wasn't crazy.

Magnaflow catback is way too expensive for what it is. Buy an eBay exhaust for 140 bucks and weld a 60 dollar magnaflow muffler and you have the same thing, but 400 bucks cheaper

Kinda what I did. I bought a pacesetter catback and not even 2 years later the muffler rusted through so I had a magnaflow muffler welded in and I love it. You can also go to an exhaust shop and have a custom one made and you choose the muffler you want.

I like it. At idle and just cruising around its pretty deep. It gets a tad raspy at higher rpms but not to bad.
