Exhaust Question...

Well i have found a good deal for a DC Sport Catback exhaust for 350 shipped new, my question is that can i install it now or should i wait till spring. I deal with the new england weather living in NH. I would like to install it as soon as i get it but i also dont want to hurt the beautiful thing. Thanks

I drove my Z last winter with a GReddy Evo2 on it and it didn't hurt it at all. Just make sure you clean it AT LEAST every other week before anything can really build up on it and corrode it.

there are different polishes you can use. seems pointless to me cuz ITS UNDER YOUR CAR. even stainless steel exhuast will change colors. Unless your just talkining about your tip, then by all means. people can actually see it

this is why i will not spend alot of money on an exhaust. i don't have time to baby a friggin pipe underneath my car i'll put one on and when it rusts off i'll go buy another decently price exhaust.

other than that, just get a stainless exhaust and you don't have to worry about it again

Do it as soon as you can. The longer you wait the harder it will be to take the stock exhaust.

i'm talking about just wiping down the muffler can itself, not the entire cat-back system. if you wash the car once a week, its easy to take a paper towel with some windex while you're doing your windows and just wipe it down.

i'm just saying you get what you pay for so to me its better to spend more money on something first, then just take care of it properly and not have to buy something new over and over again when it fails, breaks, or has blemishes.
