exhaust questions

if i were to get an exhaust for a ss would it still fit on my 2.2 08 cobalt....

is that cat back exhaust everything that you need like the downpipe and everything....

If you are refering to the stock SS exhaust, see the sticky 2.0 LSJ to 2.2 L61 Swappable Parts

This also would imply that any exhaust made for the SS would fit the LS as all the hangers are in the same locations.

A cat back exhaust means that it starts at the flange after the catalytic converters, not everything on the exhaust. You have to buy a header, and downpipe separate from a cat back.
