if ur splicing into your stock o2, I'm guessing you just wasted your money on a narrowband a/f guage....

sorry but its true...no need to get an attitude about it

narrowband 02 sensors are very inaccurate and are more for a light show than anything

get a wideband 02 gauge and have a bung welded into your exhaust to have the 02 sensor in...

there, see how helpful that was

I'm not too sure on the style o2 used on the cobalts. but if there are 4 wires coming out of it then 2 should be white, one should be black, and then there's a color wire. Splice it in with the color wire.

Anyway I'm not trying to be a dick man. No need to get an attitude. Just telling you that it's pretty much useless and you're risking a lot splicing wires on ur brand new car just to have a cool looking guage...

it is the purple wire.... after the sender, on the sensor before the cat. converter. I have a narrow band too, i really dont care if it serves a purpose, im not spending 300 on a stupid widband, when i can go plug the tech 2 in and get an exact reading. mine is 14.7:1.... good luck man, pm me if you have any other questions

A narrow band O2 sensor gauge like a standard autometer one is not worth it. It is just a waiver gauge...........

The real thing you would want if you looking for accuracy is this:

If your tuning yourself, which it does not sound like you are; it is necessary. If you are not......go with your stage 1.

Well, id see the sense in a wideband, if there was a decent priced way to control the a/f.... hp tuning seems to be an option right now, but cost wise... well not yet, over the summer prolly
