So the turbo kits range for about 3600-4000, procharger was about the same at 3800 and a SC could be done for about 2000 conisiting of buying used parts off previous users. So is SC the cheaest way to go on FI
you can build a custom kit yourself alot chepar than the kits on the internet. you just need to search around and look for deals of ppl selling their old parts. custom turbo kit can range from 1000 - 3500 depending on what kind of turbo/parts you buy. Supercharger kit can be collected from LSJs on here wanting to go turbo or TVS. Some ppl sell their M62 kits for as little as 600.

You can get brand new autometer gauges on ebay for like $50-60 each.

I'm glad to see more people going through with their custom turbo builds. How many threads do we have around here like "My custom Turbo Kit" and then of course they always end up not installing it and just saying this car is not worth it.

The problem with custom kits is the fact that you are going to have to figure everything out yoursef (or get people here to help) and it is not going to snap toghether like legos. You will have to have some mechanical experiance and must be willing to work through various problems. A kit will give you the ease of just buying it all bundled but it has its price.
He must be talking about autometer full sweep gauges. They are around $115 to $140 each.

installing: its all bolt on
tuning: trifecta

oh thats what i figured. i will be using an atmos. bov aswell when i get my turbo build going.
