Fitting a bigger exhaust inlet

Quick question what do I need to do to fit a muffler with a 2.5" inlet on the small 1.8" pipe of my lt. I'm not doing a full replace just need a new muffler because I got holes in mine?

You need a reducer from 2.5 to my guess is 1.75. There's no 1.8 diameter tubing that I know of

They might not make one. Check ebay, vibrant, burns stainless or other metal shops. A muffler shop might able to expand it but that's .75" in expansion which will possibly tear

Thanks guys I find the muffler I wanted in a 2" inlet so it will be easier on me. My next adventure is to find a way to bring my muffler to the back of the car. My new muffler is 18" shorter than the stock.
