I thought the 07 LT/LS had the same downpipe as the SS/SC?

07's have the same manifold, different dp. some of the SAI models come with two o2 sensors, some come with two cats.

well the factory downpipe on the 07 has 2 o2 welds. i think the one before the cat is most accurate, right?

if you dont put both, you will trip a cel. i would suggest getting a new bung welded in. especially if someone will do it relatively cheap

The one after the cat is for the o2 sensor that moniters the cat. Pick up an o2 bung plug at AutoZone and plug the pre-cat hole. Then use the exhaust manifold bung for the o2 sensor that controls your A/F ratio.

he's actually needing to have the upper bung installed in a ss/sc dp to match the setup he has on his 07 2.2l.

I'm pretty sure on the 05-06 cobalts there is one bung in the exhaust manifold and one in the downpipe. 07+ there's 2 bungs in the dp. Not a big deal. Might cost you what... $25 to weld an O2 bung in?

there isn't 3 O2 sensors. They just moved the sensor from the manifold to the dp.

actually there's more available for the 07+ tuning wise than for the 05-06. Moving the O2 sensors was probably because of sai. And I'm pretty sure you can put headunits in the 07+s, you just have to get a wiring harness that allows for the lan system.
