ok so iv heard alot from the guys with the ss/sc cars and they get decent gas mileage. but what about the 2.2 litre balts. what sort of mileage are you guys seeing with these cobalts?

 

im getting 27.2 right now, and that's with a HUGE dent in my cat.

 

i drive my balt hard, with no performance mods, and i am seeing about 17-20 in the city, about 33 on the highway in normal driving...............

 

When i play hard i get about 25. But when i drive like i have sense in the city i get about 27-28. On the highway I get in the high 30s.

 

Low 30's in mixed driving, high 30's on the highway.

 

ive calculated and get 28 in the city with the A/C running. Houston heat doesn't help one bit.

 

I have high 27/low 28 mpg with mixed driving. When I'm heavy with the right foot sometimes it goes down to 25-26.

 

My driving includes bridges.

 

around 24-27. depends on how im driving in the city. about 35-36 highway.

I got 32.5 on my last tank. Mostly highway driving with the A/C on and its an auto.

 

between 23 and 26 mixed city and highway

 

2.2 auto, 26 city, 37 highway. Light foot does wonders.

 

I am averaging 28 and thats at an average speed of 35. WOO HOO. stupid city.

normal driving for me = 32 MAX
hard driving for me = 21 MAX

average = 27

 

right now i am getting 24.8
but that is mainly iwth alot of stop and go traffic...

 

you all are lucky with your gas my balt sucks it down hard, when it is not at the dealer. i think my balt believes it is an I6 and not a 4.....

 

On page 2 there is an mpg thread and on page 3 there is another one similar, that is if you want more info quicker I don't know what some of you are doing to your cars but when i drive mine hard i still get 27.5+mpg with ALL city, if i combine that with highway and drive the **** out of it i usually get 30-31 and if i am on the highway cruising with the windows down at 80 sometimes kicking it up to 85-90 for shot periods....i get around 33-34mpg.

 

Max Highway (65mph): 42.5 mpg
Normal Highway: 37.5 mpg

max City: 30 mpg
Normal City: 26 mpg

 

i am currently at 37.5 mpg.thats with some ruff housing in there too but not much.just takin er easy
oh mostly city too

 

like i said earlier, i live in florida, and every time i go somewhere i have to go over a very steep bridge that saps my mileage...... it sux really bad...... fun on the downside of the bridge though

 

28 no matter what, my car is phuxored. and new. cant wait for the 1.4 global turbo

 

depends on the wheels. With the stockers on i've seen 45mpg on the freeway but that was once. usually 34/39 if i'm driving sanely.
