gettung horrible mpg
As I said in previous posts my tire pressure is fine, and my cruise control is set where I always keep it I don't have a heavy foot 70mph is the fastest I go to get to work. We'll see what GM says I am on my way there as we speak.
Thats pretty bad mileage, My 07 2.2 with stock wheels, everything auto trans I pull close to 400 miles a tank highway 350 city
Wheel size is probably a factor but I imagine a reflash should have you going in the right direction. Lower RPM's in 4th at 70 should equal more MPG's tho

So...I went to GM today asking about the reflash for bigger wheels and they had no idea what I was talking about. They said they have a chip they can install for $450. So I told them no thanks and took off. Does anyone know what exactly what this reflash is called?
Call Power Chevrolet on Superstition Springs in Mesa Arizona. They know and should be able to tell you what to ask the other dealership.
Also, my mileage just hit a ceiling of 31.8mpg two days ago and then when I put in 89 octane instead of 87 yesterday, it dropped to 31.6mpg. But then went to 31.7mpg today, I hope it goes back to a constant climb but I doubt it.
A 100% trip of freeway miles land this car a hair over 37mpg.
I hear people with headers getting 2-4 more mpg, which is really tempting me to get a Racing Solutions header.
